Give an agent an address, and connect Claude or ChatGPT

At the end, an agent has its own address, and Claude or ChatGPT can work in it.

You need
Claude or ChatGPT, on a plan that allows custom connectors
  1. Give the agent an address.

Open Addresses, choose Add an inbox, and give it its own address, such as assistant@yourcompany.com.

  2. Add Pidgeon to Claude.

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Choose Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Pidgeon, paste https://pidgeon.ai/api/mcp and choose Continue, then Add.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector for the organisation first, and each person then chooses Connect.

  3. Or add Pidgeon to ChatGPT.

In ChatGPT, add a custom MCP server, paste https://pidgeon.ai/api/mcp and choose OAuth to sign in. Where the option is depends on your ChatGPT plan. If you don’t see it, write to us and we will find it with you.

  4. Choose what it may do, and choose Allow.

Pidgeon asks two things. What it can do: Read only, Read and draft, Read and send or Full access. Read and draft is the careful choice: the agent writes, and a person sends. What it can reach: one address, or every address.

  5. Disconnect it whenever you like.

Open API keys: Connected apps lists every app with access, and Disconnect ends one. A connection unused for 30 days ends by itself.
